Online support

Although we are no longer running our online Zoom group, we have several in-person support groups running most days across York.

You can also get online support through:

Treasure Chest on Facebook

Our Facebook group – ‘Treasure Chest & Beyond‘ – is a place where families can chat about their experiences of breastfeeding, share ideas, connect to other families in the area and find out more about what’s happening with Treasure Chest.

Members are all breastfeeding families (past or present), supporting partners and parents to be, in or connected to the York area.

The group is administered by trained Treasure Chest Peer Supporters (TCPS) and breastfeeding counsellors (BFC) and you’ll usually find one of us online to answer any queries you have.

What families have to say about our online support

I will be eternally grateful to Treasure Chest & Beyond (York) for this group, the lovely supportive peer supporters, the drop in sessions and the lovely supportive community that we have here, this is a safe place where someone is even likely to offer help and advice at 3am in your hour of desperate need, when kind words are what you need the most!
I am so grateful for this amazing resource I am sure I would never have succeeded in feeding my babies for this long without your support so, THANK YOU!

A Mum, June 2019
